Malaysia purchase natural dyes for textile in Peru – CO

Peru continues to expand its commercial borders all over the world. After the departure of the united States of the TPP, and even from before, with the arrival of the new government to the country in the second half of 2016, the country continues to develop alliances one-on-one with the important countries of the east.

Peru would engage in negotiations with Malaysia in view of a TLC – Famar

In an official statement released this week by Comex Peru, began that the country would be in negotiations with Malaysia, with the aim of developing a bilateral FTA, at the same time that the government of the incas negotiated agreements with Thailand and India.

Within the textile industry, one of the great attractions of Malaysia as a potential market, are manufacturing and above all the inputs, as the carmine of cochineal, dye-aniline natural used especially for cosmetics and dyes natural textile.

Peru is one of the largest manufacturers of this kind in the world and during the 2016 exported more than $370.000 dollars of product to the asian country, to contribute their grain of sand to the more than $299 million dollars that have countries as the trade balance.

The trend is tilted in favour of Malaysia, as the asian country exports to Peru nearly $188 million dollars per year (figure 2016), while Peru exports to Malaysia $111 million dollars.
